Does your dog need to put on some weight? Increasing his fat intake or simply feeding him larger portions isn’t always the healthiest ways to so. There is a common recipe that has been created as a homemade dog food for weight gain. This recipe is typically referred to as Satin Balls for dogs. Read the full recipe here:
Satin balls should be used as a snack or treat in addition to your dog’s food. I would recommend starting with 1 Satin Ball for every 20 pounds of body weight per day. If you don’t notice weight gain within the first 5-7 days, increase the number of Satin Balls fed per day.
“Because it is a raw food, Satin Balls are very easy to prepare. First, mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. You’ll need to work the ingredients together with your hands to ensure that everything is thoroughly combined.”
