How To Catch BIG BASS In Deep Grass; Lake Seminole Worm Fishing

We have a great video for ya’ll today!!

We are back on the legendary Lake Seminole to learn more about summertime grass patterns and some offshore ledge patterns. Our new friends the Whittaker brothers are taking me on the grand tour of summer time spots. We were able to find a school of big bass on a creek channel swing up in Spring Creek.

The fish were in grass holes on the channel edge in around 18ft and they wanted a Texas Rigged Candy Cane in Watermelon Magic with Garlic Scent. Another spot we caught big bass on was a grass hump on the main lake where it comes up to around 8ft with submerged hydrilla..the fish group up in the grass on these humps and chase bait.

In this episode Andy and I cover what areas to target on the California Delta for winter time bass. Since we are nearing the end of winter we also target transition areas like we did on the prior episode. We fished jigs, texas rigs & wacky rigs for the most part as that’s what was working best that day. The key since we had to fish the tail end of a front was slowing down and focusing on bottom fish. 90% of our catches came when the bait reached the bottom or dead sticked the worms for a few seconds. When ended up with around 21lbs for our best 5 fish, so sit back and enjoy! Please remember to like and comment, thanks guys!

Michigan Bass Opener Tournament- Bed Fishing

Kris and I fished the first tournament of the year this past weekend and got on some solid bed fish. Everything was going right until we realized my livewell went out and our fish took a turn for the worst. We manually cycled water in all day but two of our big fish still died even with our efforts. The dead fish penalties ended up costing us our would have been 2nd place finish and bumped us down to 4th. we also missed out on the big bass pot. Overall a tiny blown fuse cost us 320 dollars. We have a ton more tournaments coming up, and will try to avoid any further mechanical complications at all costs! Thanks for watching hope you all enjoyed! In this video, I struggled to find where the fish were hiding on this pond! Pond was in the low 40s with the outside temperature being 40! Cold day to fish, but I finally found some!
