We are back on the legendary Lake Seminole to learn more about summertime grass patterns and some offshore ledge patterns. Our new friends the Whittaker brothers are taking me on the grand tour of summer time spots. We were able to find a school of big bass on a creek channel swing up in Spring Creek.
The fish were in grass holes on the channel edge in around 18ft and they wanted a Texas Rigged Candy Cane in Watermelon Magic with Garlic Scent. Another spot we caught big bass on was a grass hump on the main lake where it comes up to around 8ft with submerged hydrilla..the fish group up in the grass on these humps and chase bait.
WATCH IN HD! Day 2 of practice for the high school national championship. Had a lot better day, most of the fish were caught using finesse soft plastic on light line. Our main lure was a ned rig in a natural color.
11 November 2017. Barry has a brand new Phoenix 21phX! Let’s launch at the Aunt’s Creek ramp on Table Rock Lake, Missouri, and use a variety of lures to see if we can catch Spotted (Kentucky) bass, Smallmouth bass and Largemouth bass. The video examines some of the features and performance of the Phoenix. VERY nice boat; enjoy the show!
Lures used: Spro Rock Crawler, Wiggle Wart, War Eagle Spinnerbait, Z-Man Chatterbait, Z-Man Trick ShotZ.

Have your bass vanished? Have your favorite Winter spots gone cold? Here’s why! The bass are on the move and they aren’t wasting any time doing it! Every year the bass start their Spring migration in late Winter and for those anglers that haven’t learned to follow them, it can be a very frustrating time.
The key to predicting the bass’ movement is to understand why they are moving in the first place. The ultimate goal of their movements is to spawn as soon as water and environmental conditions allow. The key is locating the key stops along their journey.
If you’re trying to locate fish, electronics can make all the difference. Here is what we are using… Humminbird Solix 15:
Below is a list of our favorite baits during this time of year (As seen in or previous videos on Spring Fishing).
