Getting into a nice fish from the kayak on the 19th of September, 2016, while bouncing a black colored with blue fleck 10 inch Powerbait Worm on a carolina rig setup, including a number size 2 KVD Mustad Offset SP Hook, polished bullet weight, and a red glass bead. Sufix 8 pound test clear Promix fishing line is currently on my trusty Abu Garcia Cardinal SX10 reel combo’d with a 6’6″ Medium Action Zebco Rhino Tough Rod.
Kayak fishing is all the rage right now, and for good reason. Kayaks are much cheaper than traditional bass boats, they allow anglers access to some of the most remote waters; and they can be rigged with just about any feature a die-hard bass angler can imagine. Kayak fishing has advantages and disadvantages when compared to fishing out of a boat, but with the right tools and knowledge you can make the most out of your kayak fishing adventures. Take some of Lojo’s tips from this video and put them to good use the next you’re out trying to catch a bass out of a kayak!
