How To Catch BIG BASS In Deep Grass; Lake Seminole Worm Fishing

We have a great video for ya’ll today!!

We are back on the legendary Lake Seminole to learn more about summertime grass patterns and some offshore ledge patterns. Our new friends the Whittaker brothers are taking me on the grand tour of summer time spots. We were able to find a school of big bass on a creek channel swing up in Spring Creek.

The fish were in grass holes on the channel edge in around 18ft and they wanted a Texas Rigged Candy Cane in Watermelon Magic with Garlic Scent. Another spot we caught big bass on was a grass hump on the main lake where it comes up to around 8ft with submerged hydrilla..the fish group up in the grass on these humps and chase bait.

Trout Fishing an ICY COLD Creek! (Winter Fishing Tips)

AMAZING day of Winter Fishing!!! Exploring a creek I’ve never fished before, my patience was put to the test as the crystal clear creek was devoid of life the first mile of wading. Exhausted and cold in the 40 degree water, I kept grinding desperately trying to avoid my third skunk in a row. After two fishless hours, my efforts were rewarded and I managed to find the mother load of rainbow trout!!!

WaveSpin Legend 250 Reel, MicroWave Guides and Z-Man ZinkerZ “Ned Rig”

This is a Performance Review of the WaveSpin Legend 250 reel and the MicroWave line control system (guides) on Table Rock lake in early April, 2014. The video shows Kentucky Bass being caught on the Z-Man 2.5″ ZinkerZ “Ned Rig” on this rod/reel combo.
The Legend 250 made its impressive introduction in the summer of 2013 to the fishing tackle industry and top anglers at ICAST. It is ideal for targeting bass, pike, walleye, trout and crappie. The reel features a light weight (9.5 ozs) CNC machined aluminum body, 7+1 extreme-duty Japanese steel bearings and the exclusive WaveSpin spool for longer tangle-free casts. With a giant 10 disc alternating front drag system, it produces up to three times stronger drag tension than top competitors.
The MicroWave line control system better controls the friction- causing line slap of the helical coming off the reel while passing through the guides. Thus, the system improves ease of casting, smoothness, distance and accuracy.
Enjoy the show!

Summer Bass Fishing on Table Rock Lake

It’s the heat of the summer and the TAGF crew is out on Table Rock Lake in Missouri going after Bass. Summer can be a difficult time to fish due to the heat on your body but also the hot water conditions. If you know where to look and how to use a graph effectively you can still be successful! As always, it beats sitting at home!

In this episode Andy and I cover what areas to target on the California Delta for winter time bass. Since we are nearing the end of winter we also target transition areas like we did on the prior episode. We fished jigs, texas rigs & wacky rigs for the most part as that’s what was working best that day. The key since we had to fish the tail end of a front was slowing down and focusing on bottom fish. 90% of our catches came when the bait reached the bottom or dead sticked the worms for a few seconds. When ended up with around 21lbs for our best 5 fish, so sit back and enjoy! Please remember to like and comment, thanks guys!

How to Fish a Drop Shot for Bass

Forrest Wood Cup champion bass angler Kevin Hawk talks about a technique he has been perfecting for bass for a number of years and how he has learned that the drop shot is more than just a deep water vertical application for finesse plastics when bass fishing. He talks about his different presentations, how he works the bait, working it through suspended fish, fishing vertical cover and structures, and a lot more. Good tips and info from a drop shot guru.

Topwater Lure Pattern for Big Bass at Table Rock Lake

High light of this video is a really nice 7lb, 7oz Largemouth Bass from Table Rock Lake. The bass were on a topwater pattern in April 2012. Barry caught tons of Kentuckies and several nice whites with a Zara Spook Junior. On the other hand, my strategy was to use a vintage Bill Dance (MHF) Heddon “Spit’n Image” and concentrate on quality bass and basic first aid. Enjoy the show!

Kayak Bass Fishing Tips from Lojo Fishing!

Kayak fishing is all the rage right now, and for good reason. Kayaks are much cheaper than traditional bass boats, they allow anglers access to some of the most remote waters; and they can be rigged with just about any feature a die-hard bass angler can imagine. Kayak fishing has advantages and disadvantages when compared to fishing out of a boat, but with the right tools and knowledge you can make the most out of your kayak fishing adventures. Take some of Lojo’s tips from this video and put them to good use the next you’re out trying to catch a bass out of a kayak!

Handlining Winter Bass — Tip-up Ice Fishing

Thanks for watching today’s video. Sorry it took me so long to get a new one up. I’ve been busy on that work and fishing grind, but I love it! Huge S/O to Dan for showing me around his local pond waters and doing 99.9% of the tip-up labor. This dude is basically a guide when it comes to tip-up fishing. I know that this may not be the most eventful video yet but I still hope you enjoyed! Tune in for some ice fishing as this LONG Illinois winter pushes on. Stay tuned homies.

5 Tips to Catch More Bass on the Whopper Plopper

Many bass anglers have come to rely on the Whopper Plopper for getting the big bites – professional bass angler James Watson is in those ranks and shares some specific guidance on how he fishes it and the type of equipment required to handle this heavy plug.

For James, success starts with dedicating lots of time to fishing the lure. It produces bites, but it’s the amount of 3-pound plus bites that make it tough for him to set his Whopper Plopper rod down. One tweak James makes is swapping out the stock hooks for larger round bends, but perhaps most importantly is the equipment. A long and heavy power rod coupled with 50 lb braid prevents you from tiring while providing the power for long casts, strong hooksets and the ability to handing big fish.
