Instead of putting the burden and pressure on the  dog , ask yourself what’s wrong with the way you are handling the  training .

Do not ever use fixed bars or structures during  training  as this might injure your  dog . For jumping, use a bar with somebody holding the other end with the other end free so as not to harm your dog if ever he cannot clear the bar. Always try to think of any possible areas wherein your dog might get hurt and act on it before it is too late.

Dogs are like us humans. We have good moods and we have bad moods and so do dogs. You have to understand this situation and act accordingly to address them. Giving them food and letting them rest might do the trick.

The usual motivation in  dog   training  is by giving them food every time they accomplish a given task. If they fail, you still give them food but in a much smaller amount than if they successfully passed a task. Like for example, the day the dog does not do very well, you might decide to not give him any additions treats. This will make them understand the benefit of doing a task correctly. Praise and pat your dog on its head; that will make him feel good every time he finishes a task. Food, however, is the most effective factor in motivating dogs.
